Detailed Itinerary

Day 01 - Airport / Colombo

Airport transfer to a Hotel in Colombo.
The Airport is approx 35 km form Colombo city.

Dinner & Overnight stay in Colombo.

Day 02 - Colombo / Kitulagala

Leave Colombo after breakfast for Kitulgala. Bird watching at the Kitulgala forest.
Dinner & Overnight stay at Kitulgala .

Day 03 - Kitulagala

After breakfast White water Rafting at kitugala. Evening at your leisure.
“The Kelani river graded 2/3 rafting site stretches for six kilometers with seven exciting rapids namely, Teaser, Virgin’s Breast, Butter Crunch, Killer Fall, White Quarter, Head Chopper and Rafter’s Quarter. A briefing is given prior to running in the river with instructions on paddling techniques.”

Dinner & Overnight stay at  Kitulgala .

Day 04 - Kitulagala /Nuwara Eliya

Leave for Nuwara Eliya. and visit Victoria & Hakgala  gardens.
“Hakgala is a small botanical garden close to the famous hill resort of Nuwara Eliya. A special attraction here is the variety of  orchids, many of them endemic to Sri Lanka.It was once the pleasure garden of Ravana of the Ramayana epic and according to many; it was one of the places where the beautiful Sita was hidden by the demon king.”

Day 05 - Nuwara Eliya

After early breakfast leave for Horton Plains and trek to Kirigalpotta.

Horton Plains is a highland plateau comprising montane grassland and elfin forest. It is home to a large variety of endemic birds & flora. Day 06 - Nuwara Eliya / Kandy

After breakfast leave for Kandy. City tour of Kandy and in the evening you will observe a cultural show.
“Kandy was the last capital of the Sri Lankan kings, which fell to the British in 1815. This hill capital is situated in a valley 1600 feet above sea level. Due to it’s Its cultural and religious significance UNESCO designated the Sacred City of Kandy as a World Heritage Site in 1988.”

Day 07 - Kandy / Negambo

Leave to Negambo On the way going to visit pinnawala elephant Orphanage and Elephant back Safari(Open Back)
some The Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, established in 1975, commenced with seven orphans. Today of these orphans enjoy the fortune of seeing their grandchildren born in the same location. The original objective of establishing the orphanage inclined more towards tourism, but is soon became a conservation and educational centre. With the help of local and foreign elephant experts, Pinnawala started a scientific captive-breeding program for elephants. The free movement of the herd enhanced the chances for respective individuals of both sexes to get together and mate. The nearby river played a dominant role in this regard, and in 1984, the first baby of Pinnawela was bornLeisure at a Beach Resort.

Day 08 - Negambo / Airport

Leave to the Airport on time for the flight.
