Detailed Itinerary

 

Day 1 Airport - Negombo

Arrive in Sri Lanka, to be met at the airport and transfer by air-conditioned Vehicle to a Hotel in Negombo. Rest of the day at your leisure. Dinner and overnight stay in Negombo.

 

Day 2  Negombo – Pinnawela - Habarana

After an early breakfast travel to Sri Lanka’s cultural triangle via Elephant Orphanage, a institution that has been looking after orphaned or injured elephants that would otherwise have surely died. If you leave the hotel early then you can watch the elephants bath in the river after the youngest babies are milk fed.After lunch you will leave for the cultural triangle and check in at a hotel in Habarana. In the late afternoon we will organize a one-hour elephant ride through dry land jungle. Dinner and overnight stay in Habarana.

 

Day 3 Polonnaruwa - Minneriya

The next day explore the ancient city of Polonnaruwa, once the capital of an advanced and prosperous medieval kingdom. Afterwards return to the hotel for Lunch. After lunch safari at Minneriya national park, an important wetland park supporting many aquatic birds and about 300 wild elephants.
Dinner and overnight stay in Habarana.

 

Day 4 Habarana

The following day you can enjoy a relaxing morning at the hotel poolside or explore surrounding by walking or biking. Dinner and overnight stay in Habarana.

 

Day 5 Sigiriya - Kandy

After breakfast checkout from the hotel and leave to visit Sigiriya rock fortress, one of Sri Lanka's most fascinating UNESCO world heritage sites. No matter how often you climb to the summit of this one-time hilltop fortress of the maverick Sinhalese king, Kassapa, the pleasure barely diminishes because of the abandon spectacular views at the summit.
Afterwards travel to Kandy another fascinating city of Sri Lanka. Dinner and overnight stay in Kandy.

 

Day 6 Kandy

The next day, after breakfast, you will have a city tour of Kandy, visiting the temple of the tooth and some leisure time for shopping. And after Lunch We are going to visit Royal Botanical Garden Peradeniya . Evening you will be entertained with a spectacular Sri Lankan cultural show. Dinner and overnight stay in Kandy.

 

Day 7 Kandy – Nuwara Eliya

After breakfast you will travel deeper into the tea-growing hills and have the option to wind through the mountains with magnificent views. En-route to Nuwara Eliya you will visit a factory of the popular Sri Lankan Tea.and you can get experience of Tea Plucking .
Rest of  the day at your leisure. Dinner and overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya.

 

Day 8 Nuwara Eliya

The next day with the packet  breakfast  we are leaving  “ Hortan Plain ” This is a 8 km tracking by walking .Eeveninga city tour with option to walk around the streets. We will also visit the Haggala botanical gardens. Dinner  and overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya.

 

Day 09 Yala

After Break Fast Leaving to Yala  and On the way visiting Ella Gap and have a Tea by watching Gap of Ella  . Drive  to Yala, one of the island’s most popular wildlife parks where you could see all most all the animals which is found in Sri Lanka. Dinner and overnight stay in Yala

 

Day 10 Yala – Bentota

After breakfast you will check out from the hotel and drive up Sri Lanka’s west coast, perhaps stopping in Galle Fort for a walk on the ramparts and a cup of coffee, on your way back to Bentota. By late afternoon, check in one of the most popular beach resorts and which is also situated in the “Golden Stretch of Beaches” in Sri Lanka. Here you will relax and enjoy your beach stay which you richly deserve for the rest of the tour. Dinner and overnight stay in Bentota

 

Day 11,12, 13 & 14 Bentota

Leisure at your beach resorts and River Safari in Bentota River

 

Day 15 Bentota - Airport

Depart in good time for your flight home
